about a trip to the farm

Starting in October, we started handing out fliers to our families with kids in TheBLOCK(infants-3) and MiNi CiTy(3-5years) for our first ever "preschool" event.

It wasn't so much an organized event as it was "Hey, some of our leaders are going to come out to Hill Ridge Farms for a Saturday morning. You're welcome to join us with your family!"

We scheduled for last Saturday, November 3rd. As it approached, and we hadn't gotten much feedback, we figured most people had already visited a pumpkin patch and done a hayride and all those fall/Halloween type things already. Oh well.

We still had several families show up, and it was a great time.

We fed the hungry goats.

We fed the hungry ducks.

We played in the hay.

We took naps.

We rode the train.

We went on a hayride.

We picked out pumpkins.

It was a fun-filled day at the farm!

It was great for Aaron and I to be able to hang out with our niece and nephew too. We don't see them as often as we'd like. They're so, so adorable.
