about politics

Just kidding.

I don't want to write about politics.

But, it is Election Day, so I hope you voted.

We voted a couple weeks ago.

We stood in this line for about 30 minutes.

To pass the time, I rescued a baby frog from being trampled by voters.

We finally made it in the building, and thank goodness for these double arrows so we knew which way to go.

We voted and went on our way.

I forgot to take a picture of our stickers. Sad day.

Anyway, in just a few hours, we will see who America chooses to be the next leader of our country.

I am just glad for this:

Mitt Romney is not the hope of the country or the world.

Barack Obama is not the hope of the country or the world.

Jesus is the hope of the country and the world.

He left us, the church, the mission of being that hope to everyone. We are God's hands and feet.

So, no matter what happens, that will still be true.

For all of history, leaders and rulers have come and gone.

Countries have risen and fallen.

But God has remained.

His Word has remained.

The Church has remained.

And Jesus is coming again.
