happy birthday, mom

It's my mom's birthday today. I am so grateful to have a mom that is also my best friend! I love that I still talk to her every day, even though we don't live in the same house anymore. And I love that I can talk to her about anything.

Here's just a few things I love about my mom...

1. She loves my dad the most. So I learned how to love my own husband the most.
2. She always finishes what she sets her mind to.
3. She is a great cook.
4. She was great at helping me when I nannied, and I know she'll be a wonderful Mimi one day.
5. She has always put family first.
6. She sews all of our ripped clothes and detached buttons so I don't have to learn how to sew.
7. Need a tough stain out? She can most likely do it.
8. She loves Jesus and she was the one who prayed with me when I asked him into my heart.

I could go on and on! Happy Birthday, Mom! I love you!
